Florida's Watch List Day 3

the next ten . . .

CHLOE PROVENZANO, Senior Goalie at American Heritage will play at Harvard this fall!  Goalies have to have a good head on their shoulders. Chloe is smart as a whip and has a quiet confidence.  She was recruited to Harvard by the legendary goalie Devin Wills.  Chloe is as solid as they come. Not only does she have an excellent save percentage, but she makes clutch saves when they are needed.  Chloe played on the US U-17 team this past fall.  She as good as they get between the pipes!

BELLA MIMS, Sophomore Middie/Attack at East Ridge HS.  Bella helped lead East Ridge as a freshman to their first district championship.  Bella had an amazing 128 points which came from her 57 goals and 71 assists (which were the 2nd highest assists in the state). Bella has a high lax IQ.  She works hard on the field and although she is a true attacker, Bella is good on the draw, the circle, defense and quarterbacking the offense.  She has phenomial stick skills that she has honed through many hours on the wall.  Bella is a great team mate, extremely coachable and a great communicator.  If she gets knocked down she gets right back up.  Can't wait to see what Bella does this year-she's a girl to watch and am excited to see which college snatches her up!

TAYLOR MCCLAIN, Junior Attacker at Pine Crest School committed to Bucknell University.  Taylor can thread the needle, drive to cage and has an uncanny knack for finding the back of the net that has come from hours and years spent with a stick in her hands.  She was named one of the Top 40 Juniors in the Nation!! Taylor led in goals with 66. She led in assists with 68 and Taylor not only led her team in points with 134-but she set the single season record for points at Pine Crest. She also had 32 ground balls and 7 caused turnovers from her re-defends and ride. Even after such a fabulous sophomorenyear, Taylor has been working hard and is going to be an even greater force for opponents to try and stop this year.  She's going to have an exciting season-get out to watch her if you can!

KELLY DENES, Senior Midfield from Cardinal Newman heading to Notre Dame this fall.  Kelly is a gazelle and freakishly fast.  She's a draw specialist and dominates in all aspects on the field as a true 2-way middie.  Kelly is a US All American.  She was one of the top 2020 recruits in Florida.  Kelly is hard-working and a team leader.  It's amazing to watch her speed on the field.  After a 1-loss season last year, Kelly is ready to help lead Cardinal Newman back to the playoffs this season.  You won't be disappointed if you get to see Kelly play!

JOY COFFEY, sophomore Goalie from Vero Beach.  Joy is a literal JOY to watch in goal!  Joy's athleticism gives her versatility in and around the goal.  She is an amazing goalie and exciting to watch.  Joy will be highly recruited because she is an outstanding keeper and even moreso is a really great kid with a heart of gold.  Joy's motivation and determination drive her work ethic.  All her hard work shows in every game she plays.  She is going to play an integral role for Vero this year.  Make sure you try to catch a game.  The college coaches are definitely watching Joy who is sure to not just make an impact at Vero but will be one of the top goalies to come from the state of Florida when she heads to college.

GRACE DOUGLAS, Senior Defender from Bishop Moore. Grace is an Academic All American.  She is a smart defender and super fun to watch play because when Grace plays, she plays with all her heart! Grace is a ground ball vacuum and outstanding on the draw circle.  She's also quick and has a knack for shutting down fast breaks.  Grace thrives and rises to the occassion when playing tough competition.  Grace is a wonderful teammate.  She will have an awesome senior season.

JAYLEE AULT, Junior Attacker from Lake Brantley HS is committed to Lynn University.  Jaylee was an All American last season.  She accumulated 104 points last season and scooped up 49 ground balls. She loves lacrosse and will be exciting to watch leading the Lake Brantley Patriots this year and next. Jaylee chose to stay in Florida to continue her lacrosse career and education.  She's sure to inspire many young lacrosse players in Florida for many years to come.

NICOLE STEINER, Senior Attack/Mid at NSU University School and moving on to play at Muhlenberg next fall.  Nicole tore her ACL during her Junior year.  She worked hard and is ready for her senior season to lead her team at the University School.  Nicole is a super dedicated player.  She's worked on all aspects of her game and consistantly improved year after year as a player.  She's a wonderful person and is the kind of player and teammate who is enjoyable to have on any team!

PAYTON WAINMAN, Sophomore Midfielder at American Heritage Delray. Payton has been contributing on the talented AH Stallion's team since eight grade.  She's an absolutely outstanding player! Payton is a true dominant middie between the 30s.  Payton is a ground ball magnet. She had 100 draw controls last year.  Payton is quick, shifty and an amazing dodger.  At the high school indoor National championships this January 2020, Payton was a beast!  She has several schools already hankering after her and is going to make some coach very happy this coming September 1st.  Any young middie should try to find a way to watch Payton play this season!

KATIE KORNACKI, Junior Middie at Flagler Palm Coast HS committed to Stetson University. Katie is a leader. She was a captain during her sophomore year.  She scored 28 goals and gobbled up 41 ground balls. She led her Palm Coast team in every single stat category except the ones between the pipes.
