Day 9

ALYSSA VITALE, Senior Goalie at the Benjamin school heading to protect the pipes at Trinity University in the fall. Alyssa is a great goalie. If you've played lacrosse for any amount of time in Florida, you've probably seen Alyssa play. She was a rock in the goal last year on Benjamin's run to the State Championship game. Alyssa can clear the ball quickly and accurately. She is a leader on the defense. Young goalies will be inspired watching Alyssa play!

LEXI THEANDER, Senior Midfield and draw specialist from Jupiter high school heading to FL Southern after the summer. Lexi was a leader between the 30s and on the draw at Jupiter. She chose to stay in Florida-so all the little laxers will have lots of opportunites to watch Lexi play!

EMILY ADAMS, Junior attacker from Vero Beach high school. Emily is the quarterback of Florida's famed Vero

Beach high school team. She was the runner up for player of the year on the Treasure Coast. Look for Emily to lead Vero Beach into the playoffs with her talented team mates this spring.

FALLON MEARS,Senior Attack/Midfielder at Boca high is heading to the Florida Institute of Technology to further her lacrosse career and education. Fallon is fast and has great stick skills. Fallon is an attacker and can find the back of the net, but she also works hard between the 30s and accumulated 33 ground balls and caused 15 turnovers against opponents. Fallon is a captian and will lead a talented group of girls at Boca high school to many wins this season.

KALI WAUGH, Defender/ Mid from Lyman high school staying in state to play at Stetson for her college career.

Kali is one touch cookie. Offensive players have a tough time if Kali is matched up against them. She's fast, knows when to slide, call for the slide and is a great communicator on the field. Kali is a super fun teammate and leader on the field. Kali has been a star at Lyman since her freshman year. Don't miss seeing her play her last year at Lyman.

RAINA RICHARD, Sophomore attacker at Menendez high school. Raina's shooting skills make her a menace to goalies. She's crafty and has great shot placement. Raina's lax IQ is one of her strengths. She can read the defense and makes wise decisions on when to dodge and drive and when to feed. Don't miss Raina and the Falcons playing hard this season.

SARAH SPROLES, Senior defender at Winter Park high school committed to Queens University of Charlotte in the fall. Sarah comes from a super athletic family. She set her sights to play lacrosse in college and had several opportunities. Sarah is tall, fast and a great defender. She also plays middie for Winter Park and has even suited up as a goalie when needed. Sarah is super fun on the field and off. Watch for Sarah and her Winter Park teammates to have a great run this spring.

LOGAN TINGLEY, Senior attacker at St. Thomas Aquinas going to High Point University this coming fall. Logan committed to High Point her freshman year. Her high school seasons have been hampered with injurieds, but Logan has persevered. With Logan and her team mates healthy, the STA team is going to most likely bring the State trophy home in their new FHSAA class.

BROOKE BARRY, Senior defender from Bishop Moore Catholic. Brooke is tall, smart and a lovely girl on and off the field. She knows where to be and how to shut down opponents. She easily could have played lacrosse in college, but had other plans for her future. Her fellow defenders and team mates are going to make it difficult for opponents offenses to get past the Hornets crew of seasoned defenders. IF you get to watch them play it will be a textbook example of defense.

SOPHIA ANTEZANA, Senior Midfielder from Ransom Everglades and going to stay and play lacrosse at Florida Southern for the next four years. Sophia was a captain last year and lead her team offensively with 57 goals and 40 assists. She was a ground ball machine pulling in 35 and caused 25 turnovers. Sophia is going to have a great senior season. Hopefully those little laxers in the 305 will get out to watch Sophia play this season.
